1. General betting conditions
By opening an account, accessing the website or placing a bet, you confirm that you have read and accepted the rules that apply to the relevant service. These rules may be updated from time to time. The version shown on the website when a bet is placed will generally be used to assess that bet, unless a later correction is required by law, a clear error or a specific term of the service.
You must be legally permitted to use online betting services in the place where you are located. You must also meet the minimum age requirement that applies under Australian law and provide accurate account information when requested. We may require identity, age, location or payment verification before accepting bets, processing withdrawals or allowing continued access to an account.
Only one person may use an account, and the account holder is responsible for keeping login details secure. Bets must be placed personally by the account holder and not by another person acting on their behalf. You must not allow anyone else to access your account, use your payment method without authorisation or attempt to avoid account controls.
- Bets can only be placed through the betting functions made available on the website.
- A bet is not accepted until it has been recorded by the platform and a confirmation is displayed or otherwise provided.
- A transaction shown as pending may not yet be a final accepted bet.
- The stake, selection, market, odds and any other relevant details should be checked before confirmation.
- You are responsible for reviewing your bet history and reporting any apparent discrepancy as soon as reasonably possible.
- Access may be restricted, suspended or refused where required by law, security controls, account verification or responsible gambling measures.
Rules shown on a particular betting market may take priority over these general rules where they deal with a specific subject. If there is an inconsistency, the specific market rule, promotional term or applicable law will be considered together with the general Terms and Conditions.
2. Placing bets, odds and bet confirmation
Available markets, selections, odds and betting options may vary according to the product, event, competition, game or jurisdiction. We do not guarantee that a particular market or selection will remain available. Markets may close before an event starts, during an event or when information about the event changes.
The odds displayed on the bet slip are the odds proposed for the bet at that point in time. Prices may change before a bet is submitted because of market movements, new information, trading decisions or technical updates. If the platform displays a changed price or asks you to confirm new odds, you may decide whether to accept the revised offer.
Before submitting a bet, check the amount of the stake, the possible return where displayed, the selected market, the outcome chosen and any applicable conditions. A bet normally cannot be changed after acceptance. Any edit, cancellation or cash-out feature is optional and may not be available for every bet or at every time.
Multiple bets and combinations
Where combination or multiple bets are offered, the bet slip will show the selections included and the way in which they are combined. The settlement of a multiple bet may depend on the result of each selection and on whether a selection is void, postponed or otherwise subject to a special rule. The displayed return is an estimate or calculation based on the information available when the bet is accepted and may be adjusted under the applicable rules.
Errors and irregular bets
If a clear error affects odds, market information, a result or the recording of a bet, the affected transaction may be corrected, cancelled or settled using the price and conditions that should reasonably have applied. Examples may include an obvious pricing mistake, a duplicated transaction, an incorrectly displayed event or a technical error that creates an unintended advantage. Where permitted, we may investigate and take reasonable action to protect the integrity of the service.
Bets placed through automated, abusive or unauthorised methods may be voided or restricted. You must not interfere with the website, exploit a vulnerability, use software designed to manipulate betting activity or attempt to place bets using false, stolen or third-party information.
3. Event results and settlement
Bets are settled using the official result or other result source specified in the relevant market rules. The result may be published by an event organiser, governing body, recognised data provider or another source considered appropriate for that market. A live display, commentary or third-party report may be informative only and may not be the final settlement source.
Unless the specific market rules say otherwise, settlement may take account of the result declared at the end of the event or at the relevant official stage. Later changes, appeals, disciplinary decisions or amended records may not alter a completed settlement unless the applicable rules require a review. For this reason, a result shown immediately after an event may be provisional.
Postponed, abandoned or interrupted events
If an event is postponed, abandoned, interrupted or moved to a different time or venue, the outcome will be handled under the rules for that market. Some bets may remain valid if the event is completed within the relevant period, while other bets may be declared void. The treatment can differ between pre-event markets, live markets, player or participant markets and bets that have already been determined.
Voids, non-runners and dead heats
A selection may be declared void where an event does not take place, a participant does not start, a market is not offered as described or a specific rule requires cancellation. A void selection may be removed from a multiple bet or may cause a relevant bet to be recalculated, depending on the market conditions. Where two or more outcomes share the relevant result, dead-heat or tied-result rules may apply. These rules can reduce the return rather than treating every tied outcome as a full winning selection.
If a market is settled incorrectly, we may correct the settlement after reviewing the official information. An amount credited in error may be recovered from the account where permitted. Players should not treat an incorrect credit as a final entitlement until the result has been confirmed.
4. Live betting, casino games and technical issues
Live or in-play betting involves markets that remain open while an event is taking place. Prices and availability can change quickly, and there may be a delay between an event occurring, information being received and the market being updated. A bet submitted during a live event may be rejected, accepted at revised odds or remain pending while the relevant information is checked.
If a material event occurs before a live bet is accepted, the bet may be cancelled or settled under the applicable live market rule. This may include a score, goal, dismissal, injury, round result, change in game state or other event that affects the selection. You should not assume that a bet is accepted merely because a request was submitted or a button was pressed.
Where casino, simulated, virtual or other game-based betting products are offered, the rules displayed for that game apply in addition to these general conditions. Game outcomes are determined by the game’s approved or designated system and are not guaranteed by previous results, patterns, streaks or player choices. Each round or transaction should be considered separately.
Internet connections, devices, browsers, payment providers and other services may affect the display or processing of a bet. We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by circumstances outside reasonable control, although transactions recorded by the platform will be reviewed under the applicable rules. If the website becomes unavailable, do not repeatedly submit the same bet without first checking the account or bet history.
- Keep a record of the confirmation shown after submitting a bet.
- Check the account history before attempting to repeat a transaction.
- Do not rely on a screenshot alone as proof that a bet was accepted.
- Report a suspected technical issue promptly through the support options available on the website.
- Do not attempt to exploit a delay, display error or mismatch between the website and an external information source.
5. Fair play, account controls and responsible betting
Betting should be treated as entertainment, not as a way to make money or recover losses. Set a budget before you play and only stake money you can afford to lose. Do not chase losses, borrow money to bet or increase stakes because of frustration or excitement. Results are uncertain, and no strategy can guarantee a win.
Responsible gambling tools may include deposit, spending, loss or session limits, time reminders, account breaks and self-exclusion. The features available, how they operate and when they take effect will be explained on the website. A limit should be set before betting begins where possible. You must not try to avoid a limit or self-exclusion by opening another account or using another person’s account.
We may apply safer gambling checks and account restrictions where betting activity indicates potential harm, unusual behaviour or a need for verification. These measures may include requests for information, temporary restrictions, product limits or account closure. They are intended to support compliance, security and player wellbeing and may affect access to betting services.
You must not engage in fraud, money laundering, match manipulation, insider betting, collusion, identity misuse or any other unlawful or dishonest activity. You must not place bets for a restricted person, share confidential event information or attempt to influence an event for betting purposes. Suspected misconduct may be investigated and may result in voided bets, withheld transactions where legally permitted, account restrictions or referral to an appropriate authority.
If betting is no longer enjoyable or is affecting your finances, relationships, work or wellbeing, stop playing and use the responsible gambling tools available. Consider speaking with a qualified support service or health professional. If you have a question about a bet, review the relevant market rules and account history first, then use the available support channel for assistance.
These Betting Rules provide general information and do not replace the full Terms and Conditions or any applicable law. If you are unsure whether betting is lawful or suitable for you, do not place a bet until you have obtained independent advice and confirmed the relevant requirements.
